This bill proposes an appropriation of $6,442,000 from the bond proceeds fund to the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Board of Trustees. The funds would be used to design, renovate, and equip classroom and lab spaces at South Central College's North Mankato campus. The improvements would support programs in agribusiness, architectural drafting and design, civil engineering technology, dental assisting, emergency medical services, and geographic information systems.

To generate the necessary funds, the bill authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to the same amount, in accordance with Minnesota law and the state constitution.
