This bill authorizes the city of Springfield, Minnesota, to issue an on-sale intoxicating liquor license, an on-sale wine and strong beer license, or an on-sale including Sunday intoxicating liquor license specifically for the city-owned Springfield Area Community Center. The bill exempts this license from any conflicting laws, local ordinances, or charter provisions. It also stipulates that Minnesota's liquor laws under Chapter 340A apply unless inconsistent with this section. Additionally, the city of Springfield is considered the licensee, and the municipal liquor store regulations under Minnesota Statutes sections 340A.603 and 340A.604 apply to the license.
