   • The internship must be a minimum of 2,080 hours over a three-year period, with a waiver option for up to 520 hours if the intern has completed a clinical program.
   • Interns must be under the supervision of a licensed mortuary science practitioner and can only be supervised by one primary and one alternate supervisor at a time.
   • Supervisors can only oversee one intern at a time.
   • Interns must complete 25 case reports in embalming, funeral arrangements, and services, with specific supervision guidelines for those who have not completed coursework in embalming and restorative arts.

3. Application for Licensure:

   • After completing the internship, applicants must submit an application form, proof of age, official transcripts, exam certification, and an affidavit from their supervising practitioner.
   • The Commissioner of Health will review applications and issue licenses if all requirements are met.
