This bill proposes an amendment to Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 97A.106, by adding a subdivision that exempts certain zoos from fur farm requirements. Specifically, the exemption applies to zoos that:

1. Are licensed exhibitors of regulated animals under the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
   
2. House animals owned by institutions accredited by the American Zoo and Aquarium Association (AZA).
   
3. Participate in the AZA Species Survival Plan.
