Furthermore, gas pumps dispensing this type of fuel must display a clear notice about its intended use specifically for the vehicles and equipment mentioned.

Retail stations selling this gas are required to register biennially with a designated authority and report the amount of non-oxygenated gasoline sold each year. This measure is aimed at regulating and monitoring the use of non-oxygenated gasoline while accommodating the needs of certain vehicles and equipment that may benefit from its use.
