This bill appropriates $1,000,000 in fiscal years 2026 and 2027 from the arts and cultural heritage fund to support Minnesota's thoroughbred racing culture. The funds will be granted to a Class A racetrack that primarily conducts thoroughbred and quarter horse racing and is licensed by the Minnesota Racing Commission. The purpose of the funding is to expand opportunities at the racetrack for Minnesota racehorses.
