This bill proposes an amendment to the Minnesota Constitution to establish term limits for the governor and lieutenant governor. If approved by voters in the 2026 general election, the amendment would limit individuals to serving no more than two terms in these offices, starting in 2030. Elections held before 2030 would not count toward these term limits. The bill also specifies the language of the ballot question and title.
