This bill appropriates $1,500,000 from the general fund for fiscal year 2026 to the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources to support the Lawns to Legumes program. The program promotes the conversion of residential lawns to pollinator-friendly native plants. The board is authorized to collaborate with local governments, Metro Blooms, and other organizations to implement the program. The funding is a one-time appropriation and will remain available until June 30, 2029.
