This bill proposes an appropriation of $5,000,000 from the bond proceeds fund to the Public Facilities Authority for a grant to the city of Aitkin. The funds are intended for capital improvements to the city's wastewater treatment facility, including the construction and rehabilitation of a clarifier, replacement or preservation of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, as well as other site and building renovations to support ongoing operations.

To finance this appropriation, the bill authorizes the commissioner of management and budget to sell and issue state bonds up to the appropriated amount in accordance with Minnesota statutes and the state constitution.
