This bill appropriates $995,000 from the general fund in fiscal year 2026 for a grant to the Como Community Center in Minneapolis. The funds will be used to renovate and repurpose the historic Como Congregational Church into a community center, public meeting space, and auditorium. Up to $100,000 of the appropriation may be used to reimburse costs incurred after October 1, 2024. The appropriation is a one-time allocation and remains available until the project is completed or abandoned, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes section 16A.642.
