This bill proposes an appropriation of $500,000 in both fiscal years 2026 and 2027 from Minnesota's workforce development fund. The funds would be granted to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities to support disadvantaged youth (ages 12-21) by providing job-seeking skills, career mentorship, and connections to job training and education opportunities. The grant would benefit youth in Big Brothers Big Sisters chapters in the Twin Cities, central Minnesota, and southern Minnesota. The appropriation is designated as a one-time allocation.
